Shared Writing is a resource designed to support children in developing their writing skills. It focus’ on word and sentence level. Once children have experience of each skill they should be given ample opportunity to apply it in a range of writing contexts.

The interactive videos that make up the resource can either be used whole class, in a group, for parents to support learning at home, for a child to go to during a lesson in order to support their learning or a teacher than needs help learning how to teach that skill themselves.
