Map of Outdoor Learning Experiences
After being inspired by Tom Barrett with his Maths Maps (http://edte.ch/blog/maths-maps/) it started me thinking of other applications of Google Maps to enhance teaching and learning. So…welcome to MOLE! My hope is that this collaborative project will become a growing reference of outdoor learning opportunities and trips.
Teachers will be able to view possible opportunities which they and their class can participate in, based on the experiences of others. The experiences can be absolutely anything, from a simple walk to a week long residential to a theatre visit.
Please use the pin colour that relates to the key stage below:

Hi Pete, great idea. Have added a pin for Adelaide, South Australia. Hope that’s OK.
Yes of course, great to have your ideas!
I think this is a great idea too – I’ve added the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. I’ll have a think and add some other places too. Maybe I’ll have a chance to check out the Adelaide suggestion later in the year.
